Design Package
To determine the exact cost of your kitchen remodel, a detailed design plan is essential. These designs serve a dual purpose: providing you with a visual representation of the project and enabling us to specify the cost of materials and labor comprehensively. The custom design package includes floor plans and 3D renderings for the new space, a Scope of Work document detailing costs and timelines, and a Budget Items Worksheet to break down pricing allowances for your selection items.
This comprehensive design package ensures that you have a precise visual of your completed kitchen, along with a clear understanding of the project's cost before construction begins.
Design Fee*
The cost of a custom design package for your medium kitchen remodel starts at $4000, and the process is initiated by signing a Design Agreement during your initial consultation.
Upon completion of the designs, if you decide to proceed with DHI Builds for the remodel, the design fee will be applied towards the down payment of your project. Alternatively, you can choose to purchase only the designs and use them to obtain bids from other contractors or manage the project independently. Having the plans in hand provides clarity and protection when hiring, as each contractor will clearly understand your expectations and requirements, minimizing the risk of confusion or misinterpretation during the project.
