Step 2: Measure Appointment & Drawing of Floor Plans + 3D Renderings ( 3 - 5 weeks)
Once you've committed to purchasing a design package with us, the next step involves scheduling a measure appointment. During this crucial phase, our dedicated team will meticulously capture the essence of your space by taking photos, precise measurements, and detailed notes. Moreover, we'll engage in a collaborative discussion with you to understand your aesthetic preferences and design aspirations. Armed with this comprehensive information, our skilled designers will then embark on crafting tailored floor plans and lifelike 3D renderings, bringing your envisioned project to life with precision and creativity. Your unique vision is our inspiration, and we're committed to delivering designs that not only meet but exceed your expectations.
Step 3: Present Design
Once the designs are complete, we'll coordinate a personalized review meeting at our office. During this collaborative session, your dedicated Designer will present the designs on a large screen, providing a detailed walkthrough of the floor plans and 3D renderings. This interactive discussion allows you to immerse yourself in the envisioned project, share your insights, and together, we'll make note of any desired revisions. Your input is invaluable, guiding us to fine-tune the designs until they align seamlessly with your vision and aspirations. At DHI Builds, we prioritize transparency and client involvement, ensuring that the final result not only meets but exceeds your expectations.
Step 4: Make Necessary Revisions & Prepare Proposal Base on Final Design (2-3 Weeks)
After completing all design revisions, our Estimators will create a final proposal and Budget Items list. This document outlines the total cost of your project based on the approved design plan, ensuring transparency and clarity in the investment needed for your home transformation
Step 5: Present Proposal
Our Team will host a meeting at our office to review your project proposal, which encompasses a comprehensive Scope of Work document and Budget Items list. This session provides you with a clear understanding of the total project cost and the anticipated timeline for completion, ensuring transparency and alignment with your expectations.
Step 6: Upon Proposal Acceptance (4-5 Weeks)
Should you decide to move forward with DHI Builds as your contractor, the cost of your designs will be credited towards the down payment for the construction phase. To proceed, simply sign the proposal and submit the required down payment. Once completed, your project will be seamlessly integrated into our Production Schedule, marking the beginning of the construction journey with DHI Builds.
Following this step, we'll start working on the paperwork needed for city permits and schedule a design selections meeting with our Interior Designer. Once selections are made, we'll order the items, have them delivered to our office, and keep them organized until it's time for installation. It's all part of our straightforward process at DHI Builds to keep things efficient and hassle-free for you.
Step 7: Demolition to Completion (4-16 weeks)
Once your project transitions to our Production Team, a dedicated Project Manager will be assigned as your primary point of contact throughout the construction phase. This experienced professional will skillfully oversee the schedule and communication with all subcontractors involved. To keep you informed and engaged, your Project Manager will provide daily updates via email, summarizing the day's accomplishments and offering insights into the upcoming tasks. At DHI Builds, we prioritize transparent communication and efficient project management to ensure a smooth and successful construction experience for you.
